All stone chips are not created equal. The outcome varies not only on the skill of the technician performing the repair but also the type of chip we may be dealing with. In most cases the outcome is nearly 100% and the visual results are great. But not to forget that some chips are so badly damaged that the end visual result will not be so great yet is guaranteed not to spread. Glass damage should not exceed one inch in size. Otherwise it is advised to replace it.
